Regularly involved in lots of fundraising for our local charities here in North Notts, Amanda is a Trustee and the Treasurer of the St Barnabas Hospice, Lincolnshire Amanda enjoys spending time with her family visiting tourist attractions around the country, especially Blackpool, York and Cornwall. |
Emma ThompsonPartner, Jones & Co Solicitors
Emma was born in the North East but moved to North Nottinghamshire over 20 years ago. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 after completing her LLB (Hons.) Law Degree and post graduate Legal Practice Course at Newcastle University. She joined Jones & Company as a Trainee in 2005 before becoming a Partner in 2009.
She now specialises in Land law and Property matters, both residential and commercial and heads the residential property department accross the firm. Emma has a great enthusiasm and interest in the area of work in which she deals. She is based at the Retford office. |
Dr Megan Ronayne,Programme Manager – Productivity Through Innovation,
University of Nottingham Dr Megan Ronayne’s career has been characterised by her passion for the competitiveness of UK manufacturing and technological firms.
She has a reputation for championing and supporting the UK Industrial Strategy and business’ with their strategies to improve productivity, recruitment of the next generation and skills agenda. Megan manages the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) Productivity through Innovation (PTI) programme operating from three local universities, University of Derby, Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham. Productivity through Innovation is a three year programme which provides productivity support through postgraduate placements and hiring of graduate students for 181 Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to improve their competitiveness. |
